Recovery is overrated...

going for a 60minute plus run tomorrow and if im fully recovered, i.e. fine shin and fine heel, i just may run the race next weekend around apedale. other than that not much to say - mainly been running around bunny hill up/down up/down through the trees and back home.

195 days to go, back to the hills

After a two week rest period. i'm back.
Only did three runs this week, interspersed with a couple of rides.

Wednesday 40 min ride and 15 mins worth of hill reps
Friday 10 mins run around Bunny Hill
SaturdayRun around Rudyard lake - shins starting to kick in on this..
Sunday..so today i went for a 2 hr ride instead of the 'long' run and i actually felt sick for the first time ever on a bike. i shall indeed be returning to Mow Cop, may do it twice this time. In first of course, hehe.

Summary
So yeh, im running again, but taking it hyper-steady this time - it is an impact sport after all. going to increase running time by ten p.c. next week so around 80-90mins-ish this week + a longer commute because an 8-mile round trip is a bit weakling really, im thinking hills and lots of them.
Also, I've ran 100 miles in one pair of trainers now and they look brand new - pretty ace really. Saucony RECOMMENDED
